Chapter 5

I blinked awake at the morning light that filtered through the blinds onto my face.

I did my best to quietly get ready for work. The bedroom door was shut and I dared not even knock. With little choice left, I simply put on the clothes I had worn to the restaurant yesterday and drove to the hospital.

As I ran the electric shaver over my face at a red light, I looked through my bleary eyes in the mirror and wondered how my life had spun into this direction. From an outsider’s perspective, I had it all – a great career, beautiful wife, a nice house in the right neighborhood.

But what I didn’t have was a dick that could satisfy a woman. And for me, that’s all that seemed to matter at the moment. No amount of professional respect or money or new cars would fix that for me. So what was the point of being obsessed with it all?

The tires squealed as I pulled up at the hospital and walked in through the ER entrance. From that point, I was on automatic all day. I could only think about getting back home to watch my wife fuck Devon again. The sight of my wife’s face splattered in his sticky white semen was burned into my brain.

When I got called up to Bob Haskill’s office, he shook my hand and handed me the new contract.

“Congratulations, you’ve earned one hell of a promotion,” he said. “Now you’ll have more money than you could ever need, trust me. Your wife will be one happy woman, I’m sure.”

I smiled as I signed the contract but despite it being everything I thought I had ever wanted, it left me feeling hollow and confused. Trying to imagine a life full of material wealth and the respect of colleagues just wouldn’t mean the same without Haley by my side. Somehow, the world had changed overnight and I loved and adored Haley more than anything.

It was time to give back to her for what she had done for me.

I stepped into my new corner office on the top floor of the hospital. It was completely barren. The furniture was due to arrive next week. Sitting on the bare floor, I dialed Haley’s number and prayed for her to answer. I just had to tell her.

When she picked up the phone, I heard a long pause and then a grunt.

“I love you,” I said.

I heard her moan and a man’s voice said something. She laughed a little.

“What?” she said. “You gotta speak up. I’m getting my pussy licked.”

“I said ‘I love you, Haley’,” I repeated. “I’ll do anything you want from now on. You want me to lick cum off your face? I’ll do that. I think I really like what’s happening in our marriage. Maybe we needed it, you know?”

There was another long pause and then I heard my wife’s voice again. “Okay, sure. Whatever,” she said. “Mmmmmm…yeah – lick my cunt. Right there. Yeah!”

My phone screen flashed.
