“Known you my whole life,” she interrupted. “Yeah, I know it sounds corny, but it is the same for me as well.” Her words were meant as a signal to him that it was now time to consider, once again, whether to alter the dynamics of their supposedly innocent living arrangement. His heart was thumping. It had been seven weeks since their first kiss and they had shared many kisses after that, even some heavy petting, but nothing with her clothes off.

He tossed some diced tomatoes into the bowl and continued to toss the salad. Something in her voice was different, sharper, more in focus. She seemed purposeful, watching his muscular body under his tight fitting t-shirt.

She stepped closer, her brow suddenly perspiring. If she did make love to him, there would be no going back. Right now they still slept in separate rooms. For as things now stood, his constant compliments, super nice ways, and constant glares of admiration at her sexy body were starting to get to her. She had handled enough of the growing temptation and was now buckling big time. Only she tried not to show it. If she were going to give in, she wanted it to be because she was physically ready, psychologically willing, and emotionally able, not because he had pushed the envelope.

She began to squirm as a powerful urge took hold of her inner thighs. She also began to feel herself panting slightly, a sure sign her willpower was crumbling fast. It had been well over a year since she had allowed a man to make love to her, only this was so very different. The man she was contemplating letting get her between the sheets was a man that actually already shared her condo.
