CHAPTER 3

Jenny woke up the next morning to the sound of her husband speaking frantically into his phone.

“Isn’t there any way you can still make the shoot?” he said, pacing around the room. “It’s only for today, and you can meet up with your family and pay your respects to your grandmother for the rest of the week.”

She watched as he listened to a response over the phone, frowning.

“This puts me in a bad situation!” he cried. “What do you expect me to do, the client wants the pictures by Friday…okay, okay fine. Yeah sure, I’ll tell Dominic. What? No, I don’t think he’ll be angry. Alright, talk to you soon.”

Aaron hung up the phone and sighed loudly, collapsing into a sitting position next to her in bed.

“What’s wrong, honey?” she asked him, rubbing his arm.

“Anna just dropped out of the shoot,” he said, pouting. “Goddamnit, what am I going to do? I’m screwed!”

Jenny watched her husband stomp around the room, looking as though he was on the verge of tears. He began to bang his head against the bed, throwing a fit not unlike a small child.

“I can…” she started, thinking very carefully about what she was about to say. “I can fill in for her.”

Aaron looked up at his wife. His face was a mixture of surprise and confusion. He walked around the room for a second, staring at Jenny and seeming to be deep in thought.

“No, absolutely not,” he said. “I could never ask you to do that. And besides, I don’t think it would be a good fit for you.”

“Honey, do you really have any other choice, at this point?” she asked him. “We look a lot alike, you have to admit. And this way you would be able to finish the shoot and keep your client.”

Aaron spent another minute mulling it over. He looked as though he was trapped in between a rock and a hard place. Finally, he sighed loudly, and then turned back towards his wife.

“If…if you think it’s best, then okay,” he said to her. “But you have to promise me something.”

“Anything, sweetie,”

“Dominic tends to get a little handsy during shoots,” he said. “It’s just his style. He’s a really serious model.”

“I noticed, before I mean,” said Jenny, smiling. “I don’t mind,”

“Just don’t let him have his way, okay?” said Aaron. “If he does something you don’t like, please just stop him,”

“I will honey,” Jenny said. In the back of her mind, she knew that there was very little that Dominic could do that she wouldn’t enjoy. Just the thought of having him put his hands on her, and kiss her, it was enough to make her womanhood begin to moisten and ready itself right there.

“Okay, then,” said Aaron. “I’m fine with it. I just think we should be careful, and make sure things don’t get out of control.”

“You are such a worrier!” said Jenny, smiling. “Just focus on taking the photos and let things play out, okay? Everything will be fine.”

Aaron was silent for a second.
