Best of Enemies

"Spence Burbank," Nancy replied. When both Hardys stared at her, she explained. "He used to work at Louie's. Maybe he saw something suspicious that would indicate that Louie is the Swallow's contact."

Frank looked dubious. "It's a long shot, but I guess it's worth a try. We sure don't have any other leads."*

"Okay. He's probably at his job over at the Rock Spot," said Nancy.

"Oh, great," Joe said as he drove to the Pyramid. "My favorite place."

As he pulled into the parking lot, Joe looked up at the huge steel pyramid gleaming in the sunlight. "You know, I can't help being impressed every time I see this thing," he admitted. "Can you imagine watching a basketball game in it? Or a rock concert? It would be wild."

Joe pointed to one of the inclined elevators climbing up a corner of the Pyramid. "And riding one of those up to the observation deck. That's something I've definitely got to do before we leave Memphis."

Nancy laughed. "You're just like a kid," she teased. "Don't worry. You'll get a chance to ride up the elevators."

"Come on, Nancy," Joe went on excitedly. "How many elevators do you know that rise at an angle?"
