MY EYES FLUTTER OPEN, meeting only darkness. I look around groggily trying to figure out what woke me. Alby is snoring softly in his cage, so I think that may be it. I roll over, trying to get comfortable again when I hear a soft tapping sound coming from my window.

I gasp, bolting upright and clutching my covers around my chest. What the fuck? My heart races as the taps sound again. I reach for my phone just as it lights up with an incoming call. I blink the screen into focus, seeing Jordan’s name.

“Hello?” I whisper, keeping my voice low so the person outside doesn’t here. “Jordan, I think Jasper might be outside my house.”

There’s a pause before he spits out a curse. “I’m so sorry, pretty girl. I didn’t think...” Wait, what? “It’s me. I’m sorry, I needed to see you...”

I reach over and flick on my bedside lamp. Alby lets out a low growl but I ‘shush’ him as I climb out of bed and make my way across the room. My fingers tremble as I lift the blinds, sighing in relief when Jordan’s impish face stares back at me.

I end the call and toss my phone onto my bed. Jordan helps me raise the window after I unlock it. “Hey pretty girl,” he whispers. “Can I come in?”

I roll my bottom lip between my teeth as I step back to give him space to climb into my bedroom. My eyes drift over his rippling muscles as he hoists himself up. Fuck, he is impressive.

He closes the window and the blinds and steps into my space, brushing my hair behind my ears. Alby lets out an excited yip as he races over and jumps up on Jordan’s leg. Jordan chuckles as he bends down to pet him. “Hey buddy. I missed you too.”

My heart swells. I’ve got it bad for this sexy surfer boy. “What are you doing here?” I whisper.

Jordan straightens, wobbling slightly as if he stood up too quickly. He puts his hand out on my shoulder to steady himself, then curses and stumbles over to my bed.

“Are you okay?” I ask, rushing over to kneel in front of him. Alby follows, putting his paws up on my bed and whining until I tell him to go back in his crate.

Jordan rubs the back of his head with a grimace. “I’ve been better.”

I rest my hands on his thighs and squeeze gently. “Is there anything I can do to help?”

Jordan’s eyes dilate as he looks down at me. He swallows and growls out, “For starters, you need to get up here, before I take advantage of you, which was not what I had planned when I came here tonight.” My stomach flips and my tongue darts out to wet my lips as my gaze drops down to his manhood. “Ronnie...” He warns, making me smirk as I get to my feet and perch next to him on the bed.

“So, what did you climb through my window in the middle of the night for?” I ask, nudging him with my shoulder.
