With all the cabins now filled and summer in full swing, Tandy found little time for herself. It seemed the call box was ringing at all hours of the day with everything from water problems to mosquitoes and though she had a night assistance, she found herself running nearly night and day to cater to the guests. She sat behind the desk nearly nodding off; evening was quickly filling the homestead with eerie shadows as the sun began to set once again. She jolted awake as the call box for number five buzzed in her ear. She sighed and rolled her eyes, the family staying in that cabin had been the biggest source of her pains since they arrived. Tandy picked up the phone and gave her best fake smile.

“Good evening Mr. Keller,” she said.

“We can’t get the hot water to come out again Tandy,” He growled. “My wife just went to shower and nearly froze.”

“Well how many people have already had a shower?” She rolled her eyes.

“The three boys each took one why?” He snapped.

“Well the hot water tank is only so big, you may have to let it fill back up before you and your wife get in.” She gritted her teeth. “But I will head out there and take a look.”

She walked along the darkening path towards the cabins, grumbling to herself about how soft city folk were but stopped as she neared cabin one. Her heart fluttered, noticing her sexy guest Matthew pacing in front of the living room window, shirtless and chattering on his cell phone. Despite her good senses she inched towards the cabin, her eyes desperately calling out for a better look at his chiseled body. She inched towards the front porch, ducking down slightly and peering over the rail at the gorgeous man inside. His broad, thick shoulders led down to a pair of solid pecs that Tandy longed to run her fingers across. His washboard stomach seemed to trail down, disappearing beneath a pair of loose fitting jeans. She was wet with need, wanted to see what was hidden below that waistline. Tandy licked her lips, watching the way he moved in the dull cabin light. Suddenly her ears perked up, hearing her grandfather’s name.

“No that’s right.” He muttered happily into the phone. “The man is laid up for the entire summer, has his granddaughter running the place.”

Tandy inched in closer to hear.

“No I highly doubt they are going to make the payment in time. Yeah they are booked full with people, but they still need a few thousand at least to save it. The deal is in the bag as soon as they start the auction.” Matthew laughed, his voice echoing out over the quiet land.

She gasped hearing the plot with her own ears. Forgetting the whining complaints at cabin five, she stormed her way back to the house to tell her grandfather, who sat puzzling a moment with a frown.

“Most likely he’s one of those land developers.” He nodded, as she stood furious and brooding in the living room.
