“I have told you I’m kind of rusty, right?” Sara asks Kestrel and Aloysius for what has to be at least the third time.

“Yes, yes,” Aloysius says. “Now just tie us up.”

“We’re missing a lot of steps here, guys,” Sara says, crossing her arms. She’s standing up in the living room; they’re just sitting on the couches. Sunlight is everywhere, and so are towels and clothing. This scene looks domestic at best; it’s really not giving a kink vibe.

But maybe she’s giving a nice dominant vibe with this arm-crossing? Yeah, and if she just makes sure she’s standing up straight…

They’re just looking at her, expectantly.

“What, can’t you see what we’re missing here?” she asks.

“Mikael?” Aloysius suggests.

Kestrel coughs. “You’re really sure he’d even be okay with—“

“I’m quite sure,” Aloysius finishes.

Sara sighs. “No, not Mikael. We’re missing things like… me having figured out where and how to tie you up. Good job finding the rope, Aloysius, but…”

“They’re kind of lacking a good flogging cross here, huh?” Kestrel finishes.

“Yeah. And besides, I don’t even know your safewords yet. One step at a time, guys.”

Aloysius blushes, and starts to open his mouth—

“How about cryptobiotic?” Kestrel blurts out.

Crypto…biotic.

“That’s, uh,” Sara says. “Maybe just… a little… long.”

“Decomposition, then.”

Sara gives him one of her glares. It doesn’t seem to affect him, though, which sucks, because she’d have hoped it would manage to double-function as both a display of dominance and disappointment…

“Maybe…” Aloysius starts, blushing. “Uh. See, um, I usually top…”

Sara swallows. That sure was a piece of information she just got… with quite the mental image too. Aloysius pinning Mikael to the bed…

She blinks, shaking herself out of that thought. “You know, safewords are actually useful for tops too! Fun fact.”

“She does have a point,” Kestrel adds.

“Not you too…”

“Speaking of: detritus,” Kestrel says. “Does that work?”

Sara sighs. This guy is really determined to pick the longest and most ridiculous safewords imaginable, huh…

“Fine, I guess,” she says.

“Hmm,” Aloysius says. “For me, I think I’ll pick… cake.”

“Cake,” Sara repeats, staring at him. He sure does look serious about it.

“Yup, cake.”

Not for the first time, Sara wonders how exactly she got herself into all of this. Kink is one thing, but endlessly dorky vampires who can’t even pick decently serious safewords? That’s something quite else.

Something quite cute and datable…

Um.

Right.

“And speaking of negotiation,” she says, hopefully sounding a lot more put-together than she feels. “You two are really okay getting tied up at the same time?”

“Of course,” Aloysius says. “Even if it’s hard for you to hit both of us at once—which would be fine—that just means that if I’m waiting, I’m waiting tied up. Which is much better.”

Kestrel nods emphatically.

They’re really quite a tag-team…

“W-well,” Sara says. “Speaking of waiting, I do have to figure up a tying setup, so… you could follow me around while I explore the house, or just wait. Either’s fine…”

“I still don’t get why we can’t do this on trees outside,” Kestrel notes.

“Because it’ll make aftercare harder, okay?” Sara says. “Listen, I’m the Domme here, so this is my job: keeping you safe, if also, um, tied up and in pain.
