I considered letting him suffer—only for a moment though. Then Castillo’s words echoed through my mind about me not being the only one who’d been hurt and lied to and I didn’t have a thousand years of baggage to close me off to people. Plus, my heart twisted to see the borderline hurt look on his face.
“I was going to ask if we could do it again as soon as I get some fuel and a shower,” I panted, trying to get over my hysterical fit.
“Oh. Oh!” Geir did a double take and then practically leapt over to the bed, taking all the air out of my lungs in shock as he used his huge body to push me into the comforter. “So it was good? I was so focused on you that I zoned out if that makes sense.”
No, it didn’t, but he was trying to open up to me so I would take it, chalk it up to a hound thing, and not make him feel stupid over it. “I came four times, Geir. Yeah, it was good. If you didn’t look so confused, I’d swear you were fishing for compliments.”
“Not at all actually.” He ducked his head and kissed this spot under my chin that made me shiver. “I’m just sorry I missed all your enticing moves and reactions like this.” He kissed a different spot and my breath hitched. “So enticing indeed. I am glad you climaxed many times from my cock.” I moaned as I felt it rub against mine and he licked at my collarbone. “Is your head clearer? Did my cock do the trick?”
“Uh-huh.” I would have agreed to just about anything right then. He was that good.
“Wonderful. You shower and I will go get us some provisions.” His hands found my ass and he gave me a good squeeze. “Mmm, best body I’ve ever been wrapped around, that’s for sure.”
“Sweet talker,” I chuckled, blinking up at him as he popped off the bed. How could he have so much energy? I was spent, exhausted, and wanting to cuddle up for a nap.
He shrugged as he yanked on his jeans. “I’m blunt but honest. You’ll get used to it. I try never to be crude.” Then he hurried to the door and gave me a wink. “I promise lots of fuel for you.”
And just like that he was gone. “If I didn’t know better, he was looking for a chance to run after getting a piece of ass.” I sighed as I rolled out of bed, knowing that wasn’t really it and I was simply being a negative brat. My muscles had that wonderful ache of use and overuse to them, which I gladly stretched out on the way to the shower, and while it warmed up, I bent over and really eased them.
The shower was quick, not wanting to use all my energy up on something so trivial. Besides, Geir was right, my head was clear and not bogged down with worries…
