Back at his desk he sat quietly sifting through the notes he had compiled on Ocean’s night club. “Not much here,” he thought “one or two possible suspects to check up on, but nothing concrete.” There was no real evidence to link the club with any illegal dealings. He was sure that Adam’s suspicions were well founded, but try as he may he just couldn’t find any proof. Every time he went into the club it was as if they were expecting him, and deliberately making sure that he would see nothing to alert him to what was really going on in there. He couldn’t get a search warrant to go in and turn the place upside down, as there was no evidence of anything illegal taking place. He needed some sort of evidence before he could do that. Maybe it was time to pay another visit to Adam.
