A ribbon demarcates the crime scene, spanning around the entire front lawn. Julie stands close by the crime scene with Casey. Not even in death that fucking schmuck got any attention. What did they say his name was? William Gifford. Wasn’t there some poet that went by that name? This would be the end of this family line, anyway. They’d just put a blanket over him, and whom was the camera pointing to?

Him, Casey fucking Belittled.

“With us today, Casey Belittled, a former member of the CIA, special ops. Casey, you say you have a good handle on different types of sociopaths. What’s your take on the door-to-door killer?” Julie asked.

“For one, most regular killers beg to get caught, either by leaving clues or somehow seeking publicity. You should take a good look around you. Killers like to stay close to their scene.” Casey said.

The cameraman quickly zoomed to the background, revealing the people there, and back to Julie and Casey.

“Not this one,” Casey said, “this one is different. This can only be the work of a man. Women killers aren’t like that, it goes against their general nature. Women are too, nervous, vicious.

“This man is collected, he doesn’t make mistakes. This one doesn’t want to get caught.”

Julie Meyers asked, “You’re absolutely sure it’s a man?”

Casey answered, “It’s scientifically proven. You’ll have to wait another fifty years for the report, though. I said too much already.”

“What’s it going to take to catch him?” Julie asked.

“He’s too perfect, he isn’t going to get caught.” Casey answered.

“Is there no way of telling where he’ll strike again?” she asked.

“No, his killing field is Vegas. Vegas is too big. You can’t go around protecting every single household.” Casey said.

“You’re not saying he can just keep going and going?” she replied.

“Yes, I am. He’ll go on until he’s satisfied.” he said.

“Are you saying that we can only wait until it ends?” she asked.

“Yeah, or pauses, more likely. This door-to-door killer, he’s as cold as they get. I’d advice you to lock your doors and not let anyone in when they ring the doorbell. You might be next.” Casey said and pointed toward the camera.

Samuel Ferry stepped in and pushed his hand down. “Don’t be ridiculous.” he said.

“Judge Ferry, thank you for joining us.” Julie said.

He answered, “Samuel, please.”

Julie asked, “Okay, Samuel. What’s your opinion on the door-to-door killer?”

What was that fucking schmuck doing here? Where the fuck did he get the nerve to stand in front of him like that? That son of a bitch could deny all he like, but he got caught. He was out of his fucking league.

Of all of the times he had fucking raped those pathetic little bitches, he only nearly got caught once, and even that son of a bitch he had taken care of.

This son of a bitch only tried it once and got caught red handed. He paid his respects to how he managed to get the case dismissed based on a fucking typo, but still.

“We’ll have him in no time.
