STIFF-LEGGED DEAD LIFTS

This exercise works well for 80 percent of folks. With both feet securely holding the band(s), use a wide leg stand, keeping legs slightly bent (soft knees). Grip the resistance band handles in each hand and slowly raise your torso, focusing on the back of your legs until you are standing up relatively straight with a shoulder “slouch” allowed. Repeat until it becomes difficult to reach finished position in very good form. If your lower back feels achy or resistant during this exercise, don’t do it.
