Arkobaleno

I had thirty seconds, during which time the enemy's system logs would not work, and my secret could not have been revealed. During this time, I had to deal with all of them. Of course, there was still a ‘unity of magic’ that allowed to remove the cooldown of all abilities, but I wanted to have this trump card up my sleeve.

In my head, there was a clear picture of the battlefield broadcasted by Bruce, so if I wanted, I could see all the enemies.

I appeared next to one of them and fingering with stone paws flew past at full speed, burning him with fireballs.

One down. Six to go.

However, it took a great amount of time, and two more men finally noticed me.

For this case, I also had an idea - a blinding blow, a skill I got as a useless gift from Dasha. After I used it against both shooters, a patch of sunlight, instead of instantly darting to the target, slipped forward with the grace of a fly. Apparently, it was not the light, but a visual parody slowed in many times. The only advantage it had - it went around the obstacles in its path. However, it did not make me feel better.

Finally having noticed the monster moving through the forest and their dead companion lied in the bushes, strangers immediately emptied entire clips in my direction. Health points crawled down, and I almost lost my balance because half of my stone 'paws' were damaged. Fortunately, I managed to restore them in time and got away.

Despite half of the arkobaleno was already wasted, it seemed I found a perfect way to defeat my opponents. As it often happens in a critical situation, one can notice something that had eluded the field of vision before.

Again turning on the ultrasonic waves of Bruce, I took the right position, marked each of the opponents and sent a dozen of patches of sunlight. It seemed that it was not that scary, but in each of the slow-moving light spots, I also put a fireball as a bonus. So they could fly only straight, but being attached to blinding blows, clots of flame bypassed all obstacles and inevitably got into the victims. Ten seconds to the end - the first hits started.

Three, two, one!

A smile appeared on my face. The new strategy proved to be very effective, after a while, only one of the seven men who just recently seemed as menacing marksmen was alive. How nice it was again to feel stronger than ordinary people. It turned out that since the last meeting with these shooters, I did miss this feeling.

"Pierre!" I shouted.

I was sure that it was he who survived. Who was usually the best packed, who had the highest attributes?

Of course, the leader.

"You wanted to talk, didn't you?"

"Yes, I thought that if I shoot your knees, it will make you more receptive to some questions. But who knew that it would finish like this?" Despite the unexpected development of the situation, the voice of the man sounded firmly and confidently.
