Chapter 15

Miracle was having one of those “I miss Donte” days. She had sat and thought about him from the time she had awakened—nine hours ago. She even went as far as masturbating to one of the sex tapes she had made of him and her. She looked through pictures they had taken together, which only made her miss him more. She poked her lip out as she thought about how much she missed and wanted her man back. Miracle walked in the living room and picked up her phone to call her sister.

“Heyyyyy , sister.” Silvia sang into the phone. Miracle looked at the phone like, What the hell is she so happy about? However, she didn’t care enough to ask.

“I want Donte back,” Miracle stated bluntly.

“What do you mean , you want Donte back? You mean to tell me, after all this time, you haven’t got your man back or got over him?”

“Nope .” Miracle rolled her eyes to the top of her head and let out a long sigh. “It’s been three months. Too long. It’s time for him to come home.”

Silvia looked over at Jarvis who was sleeping peacefully. “Well, how do you plan to get him back?” She was curious to know. The boy had made it clear that he was cool on her. To prove his point, he had fired her, gotten a new agent, and changed his number. Silvia smiled at Jarvis. She was so glad he’d finally realized that he loved her.

“That’s why I called you,” Miracle snapped. “How did you get Jarvis back?”

“That’s why you called me?” Silvia was confused. “And what do you mean, how did I get Jarvis back? He was just going through something; he never left.” She had a look on her face like Miracle had just asked a really stupid question.

“Really?”

“Yes, really, Miracle. Like what is the problem with you?”

“What do mean , what is my problem? We are family. When one hurts, the other hurts as well. You know what? Forget it. Don’t come crying to me when he dogs you out again.” She hung up the phone. Miracle got out of the bed and decided that she was going to pay Donte a visit. ▪▪▪▪▪

Jarvis rolled over and put his arms around Silvia with his eyes still closed. He asked, “What’s wrong?”

“Oh, hey baby, I didn’t mean to wake you. That was my sister.”

“What’s she talking about?” he asked as if he didn’t know.

“Donte Wright. Talk ing about she wants him back and stuff.” She placed her hand on her chest. “I was cheated on by my son’s father. I know how it feels, so I don’t condone what she did. I mean I love my sister, but she got what she asked for. He loves the girl he’s with.”

Jarvis sat up in the bed and looked at Silvia. “She knows everything about him. All she has to do is hit him where it hurts and watch who has his back.” Jarvis got up from the bed and walked into the bathroom.
