Chapter 12
Day 34
Somethingâs tickling me. Iâm lying on the dock by the lake, but there must be a mosquito after meâor somethingâso I bring my hand up to brush it off my neck . . . and I run into something much bigger. As I startle awake, the first things I see are brilliant green eyes twinkling at me.
Will laughs and shakes his head, and I narrow my eyes at him.
âWhat were you doing?â I demand of him, still scowling and half-asleep.
âWell, I had been sleeping, but you were lying next to me so warm and soft, and part of you started calling to me. This part, right here,â he says, tracing his finger down my collarbone. âHow could I not answer its plea? So I started kissing you right there, and then the other side got jealous, and soon half your body was demanding my lips! So when you woke up, I was doing the best I could to keep all of your parts satisfied, like a good boyfriend should.â
He gives me his very best puppy dog eyes, the charm turned on at full blast, and I ask you, how in the name of God can I be angry when heâs putting this much effort into getting out of trouble? And that line of bull he just fed me? Oh my God, if this is the way heâs going to be from now on, I am in some serious trouble.
I wrinkle my nose, still trying to look angry, but my lips betray me and keep pulling up at the corners.
His own smile spreads wide because he knows he has me. He keeps tracing my collarbone, then slowly slips his index finger down between my breasts.
âWhat am I going to do with you? I was dreaming and I thought you were a mosquito; I was about to swat you!â
âMmm . . . that could be fun,â he says, bringing his lips down to take over for his finger.
âWhat has gotten into you?â I ask, sighing softly as he takes a nipple into his mouth.
âI told you I was going to be a bad boy this morning.â He complements his reminder with the most innocent look I've ever seen, then returns his attention to my breast.
âYou certainly werenât kidding,â I say, arching my back and moaning as pleasure shoots down my spine.
His soft hands start exploring me as he continues to work on my nipple, and a warm flush rushes through me until every single part of me is awake and tingling.
I start to explore, too, running my hands down his arms. His skin is so smooth and softâit dawns on me that itâs because he no longer has any arm hair. Of course, I knew that, but exploring his body is showing it to me in ways I hadnât thought about . . . and I like it.
My fingers slide under his shirt to caress his chest, and he pulls back even though Iâm on the opposite side from his central line.
