Veronica’s life had turned upside down ever since she caught her cousin fucking her man / baby daddy. Kim moved to Iowa to fight her charges and to stay away from her brother, who she now hated for pressing them. Ronnie let her live with her. It had been two months of pure stress for Ronnie because David’s ass stalked her every move. She told Q about the shit and he told her that he had checked David once but that didn’t change shit. Ronnie was at work hoping that David’s ass didn’t show up and fuck with her today. When she looked up she found this fine ass, light skinned brother standing in her line with light brown eyes. Damn, where is this nigga from because I never saw him around here before, she thought to herself.

“Hello sir and how are you doing today will this be all?”

“I’m fine Miss Veronica but not as fine as you are.” He said smiling at her.

She smiled her pretty girl smile as she swipe his items.

“So do you have a man or just carrying a baby from a partying night?”

“No man but the nigga that father my child is a stalker.”

“Damn that’s too bad because I wanted to ask you out for dinner.”

“So what’s stopping you from asking?”

“I don’t wanna fuck your baby daddy up cause I play for keeps and he won’t know what he got his self into fucking with a nigga like me.”

“Please fuck his gay ass up maybe then he will get it and leave me the fuck alone.”

“Damn don’t down the brother like that just because you’re mad at him.”

“What’s your name?”

“Clyde but everybody calls me Lunch Box or Box for short.”

“Well Clyde I would never put that jacket on nobody if it wasn’t true. I just found out too late.”

“Give me your number and I’ll call you later on to see if you can get a way for dinner.”

She wrote her number down and handed to him along with his bags.

“Have a nice day.”

“You do the same Clyde.”

After he left, the rest of her day seemed to drag by until Jessica stopped in to grab a few things and told her about the outcome of Main’s trial.

“Girl the fucking Judge slammed my homeboy today and I had to cry just hearing the shit.”

“Damn how much time he get?”

“Four years Ronnie he gave him some shit they call red flag, meaning he has to stay lock up until a day before his 18 birthday at the state training school in Eldora.”

“Damn I’m sorry to hear that and I didn’t even get the chance to thank him for helping me that night girl cause if he wasn’t there my ass would be in jail.”

“Hell David’s bitch ass took the stand on him, talking about he pulled the gun they caught him with the night you caught him getting fucked.”

“What? How did David even get in this and how they even know he had a gun at my house?”
