This was followed by the refrain, entirely composed of two words, “old antonych!”—repeated sixteen times. On the screen one saw all sorts of freakish-looking types kissing, heavily-powdered prostitutes entering mysterious dark limousines, champagne exploding, someone shooting up on the filthy floor of a public restroom, and at one point the façade of the Grand Hotel flashed by, covered by improbable-looking cracks and vines, as a crowd of homeless men danced around a bonfire in front of the Opera.
