Werewolf with Evil Eyes

Tam McPherson, an old man of a village at the bottom of Ben MacDhui, had known a villager named Saunderson—a man who had long been suspected of being a werewolf.

Rocky region at the foot of Ben MacDhui, Scotland's second tallest mountain, site of a cave filled with the bones of what were believed to be werewolves covered with dirt like graves.

McPherson described Saunderson as “a mon with evil leerie eyes, and eyebrows that met in a point over his nose.” These were traditional identifying characteristics of a werewolf.

Saunderson had acquired more suspicion on himself by his choice of residence. He lived in a cave in the mountains, once the home of his ancestors. They too were believed to have transformed into wolves.

After Saunderson died, a band of villagers went to his cave to search the place, hoping to find some evidence proving his ability to change his form.

It was said that bones of both men and wolves were found in the musty cave, some of which had been covered with dirt like graves.
