Eating

The best place to each lunch is at the row of food huts opposite the beach at Store Bay, where local women offer delicious dishes like rotis, shark and bake, crab and dumplin’ and simple plate lunches for TT$30 to TT$60. They’re all pretty similar, so the best plan is to head for the stall with the longest queue. Also, local chefs set up barbecues, cooking up smoking chicken and ribs on weekend evenings, and there’s a mobile stall on the road between the airport and Store Bay Beach that sells doubles, pies, roti and other Trini Indian delights.
