To the editor,

I have been a loyal subscriber to the London Herald for twenty-three years, but I will be canceling my subscription because I cannot support a paper that will not condemn the continued freedom of those enemy aliens who live among us. This government made a serious error in judgment in not shipping all of the Germans back home at the start of the war. They are allowed to walk among us as though nothing changed when Chamberlain made his broadcast. A disgrace.
