Vegetable Fried Brown Rice
with Ginger Sauce
Brown rice is a more nutrient-dense option than its white counterpart because it includes the grain in its whole form with all of its edible partsâbran, germ, and endosperm. Including all of these classifies it as a whole grain. With eight different vegetables and a whole grain, this recipe provides plentiful fiber, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. Remember, too, that the best fried rice should take mere minutes to cook. To achieve this, you must prepare all of your ingredients ahead of time (aka prepare a mise en place) and use a very hot pan. SERVES 8
