1 pound flank steak, sliced very thinly against the grain

4 tablespoons soy sauce

½ cup sherry

1 tablespoon ginger, minced

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon coarsely ground black pepper

½-1 teaspoon crushed dried chilies, more if you want it very spicy

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 large yellow onion, sliced

2 green bell peppers, sliced

½ teaspoon salt

4 tablespoons peanut oil
