Gray's shout overhead is hot. Of course, it's possible he's screaming because he stubbed his toe or whatever, but I'm hoping it's something better than that. He walked out of here holding the vibe and ring box like it was a bomb.

I didn't mind giving it to him. They were a special bonus gift after I hit the two-hundred-dollar mark on my order. I've got a bunch of rings and vibes already that I like, and those looked pretty basic, but if Gray's been making do with his hand and inattentive lovers all this time, they'll work well enough for him.

The knock on my door is unexpected. A bit scary, actually, because it's more like a pound than a knock. Like the police are about to bust in here and start tearing the place up while a German shepherd snaps at my crotch and they demand to know where the drugs are.

The sound continues as I come up the hall, untying my apron. I was about to bake cookies, but whoever is on the other side of this door clearly has more pressing concerns than chocolate chip deliciousness.

It's Gray. He's flushed and his hair is plastered to his forehead.

“I just had the best orgasm of my life.”

His words make me go hot and cold at the same time. I want to laugh, kiss him, and drop to my knees and see if I can beat his personal best right there.

Except he's literally standing in my doorway. When I glance over his shoulder an old man is fumbling with his keys at his apartment door. I can't tell if he didn't hear us or can't hear us, but I am not going to let Gray embarrass himself on my watch. Not when he's watching me from behind those big glasses like his world has just changed.

I grab hold of his hoodie, tug him inside, and slam the door shut. He's babbling the whole time.

“It was… It was… They're so tiny. How can such little toys make such big…” He puffs up his cheeks and thrusts his hands out like an explosion.

Fuck, I want to kiss him. He's breathing hard, and once again his zipper's hardly done up, but now I'm only inches from him, where I can see the smooth expanse of his chest without any obstruction. He's almost hairless, and his skin glistens as he continues to breathe like he just finished coming.

“Did you literally wait long enough for your balls to stop and then run down here?”

“I…” He blinks, like he's just waking up. “Maybe?”

Still want to kiss him. Especially when he heaves out a big sigh and licks his bottom lip. Everything about Gray is adorable. All this time, when I've seen him on the elevator or in the building lobby, I'd assumed he was this confident masculine dude who spent his weekends seducing willing partners and showing off his abs.

Now I think he might be kind of a nerd.

But a nerd with abs.

A combination like that is lethal, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't even know he has this superpower.
