Fifteen minutes before nine, we were already in port. The barge was at the beginning of moorings and visible from afar, because it stood out from the other super modern yachts. The McCormacks and a balding older gentleman of smaller stature were already on board; next to him was a pleasant lady of middle age and darker complexion, with a light shawl around her head. Al-Abadi’s. Not far from the boat, Dr Kendall was walking up and down the quay. We boarded the boat together. There was a get-to-know-you session and we set sail shortly afterwards. The captain was a black-haired elderly Mexican man, who from afar looked like a real sea wolf. He was helped by his two sons in their late thirties.

We agreed to talk in small groups because there were too many of us to talk together. Me and Brian, Karen and Beti, Vasili and Katarina, Dr Kendall, both McCormacks and Al-Abadis. I and Brian were the moderators and we made sure that the information circulated and we also dictated the topics we discussed. Each of us knew exactly what our role was. Joseph was extremely pleased with the meeting. He was particularly fascinated by Dr Kendall. The Al-Abadis were also pleasant interlocutors. They were calmer. One could even say that they acted as two spiritual authorities. Vasili was in charge of entertainment and safety. He had seen it all, heard it all. Immediately after setting sail, before we even started, he inspected the boat and spoke to the captain. It was all fine.

Brian and I spoke to the McCormacks before we landed in Las Uvas on the island of Cozumel. Karen and Beti were with us.

“Very interesting people,” said Joseph. “With a team like this, we can throw the Earth off its courses, which is what we will in fact do. We will do our utmost to ensure that in the second half of January we start distributing the vaccine with our nanorobots. I therefore propose that we get together on 16th of January in Vienna, where Kamala and I will be attending a three-day congress. We hadn’t planned to go there, but the date is very convenient for our final arrangements. Plus, it’s in Europe, close to you, so you won’t have to go far to travel. We can meet there at four in the afternoon in the lobby of the Hotel Sacher. In case we can’t make it to Vienna, Dr Al-Abadi will be there.”

“Right, we’ll be there. From my place, where I live, near Kranj in Slovenia, it is about a four hours’ drive to Vienna. So that suits me very well, to Brian a little less, because he’ll have to fly in from Melbourne,” I said, laughing, winked at Brian and said:

“If it was just a meeting in Vienna, then you wouldn’t have to come to Europe. But after we meet Joseph and Kamala, we have to go to Canada to see Dr Kendall, so I’d like you to come.”

“Of course, I’ll come,” said Brian.
