So, in the face of imagined evil, don’t resist. Alternately, be intelligently and strategically indifferent and relaxed. Don’t let it eat you out. Follow your life Plan and life Design. Your meaning, your purpose. Even in the middle of great suffering there can be a meaning and a purpose as the great Austrian psychologist Viktor Frankl put it. He suffered the horrors of war in a concentration camp but managed to get through the end of the war and through the absurd suffering that he endured simply by focusing on the fact that even in great suffering there is a purpose to fight for. Later he developed logotherapy which is an important psychological school dealing with the therapy of finding a meaning in every circumstance.
