Make Good Choices

Kate’s lips met another's, hands entwined, fingers laced, and she actually swooned as the gentle softness of the kiss grew more passionate and intense. A jolt of desire burned through to her core, surged outward, and threatened to consume them both. It was like nothing she’d ever felt. Suffocating, drowning, yet freeing all at once. It ensnared her. She felt like she was slipping beneath the surface and falling past the point of no return. Trapped but free. She couldn’t explain it. The intense energy filled her and she felt like she might ignite and combust into a million tiny fragments of herself. She could barely breathe.

She slowly opened her eyes, smiling, gazing into Brandon’s eyes. Suddenly, Brandon’s dark hair morphed into a familiar messy cut, the curves of his face softened. His whole face seemed to change and his eyes illuminated a brilliant green. A color she’d only seen on one person.

She felt it again. The overpowering pull. A draw to something she couldn’t quite explain. She was under a spell, enchanted and irrational.
