4 Add three inner outlines, and then erase all those unwanted lines.

IMPOSSIBLE PENTAGON

1 Draw a circle with a drafting compass. Draw five straight lines to create a pentagon within the circle.

2 Erase the circle. Then draw a parallel line inside the pentagon, starting from the top and moving to the left. Repeat this process all the way around. Make sure the spacing of the parallel line is the same all the way around the pentagon.
