THE MUSCLES BETWEEN THE BICEPS AND TRICEPS
The brachialis is the muscle between the biceps and the triceps. It can be seen on the outer arm as well as the inner arm. However, on the inner arm there’s an additional muscle—the coracobrachialis—which starts at the armpit and tapers off to nothing as it wedges neatly between the biceps and triceps. Then, when it looks as if the coracobrachialis is extinct and gone forever, the brachialis appears, along the same path, to take over.
