EUOPLOCEPHALUS means “well armored.” Although it was smaller than the ankylosaurus, its armor and spikes were larger. The armor and spikes did not run the entire length of the tail. Some artists have shown spikes on the euoplocephalus’s tail. Others have shown kittens. (Both are wrong.)

DINO-FACT
The stegosaurus had the smallest head of all armored dinosaur types. It had almost the same head size as a modern horse but attached to a body that was up to 30 feet long.
