Blown away. No. Dumbfounded. No again. Gobsmacked. Maybe. A line from Romeo and Juliet kept running through my head. âGive me my Romeo, and when I shall die, take him and cut him out in little stars. And he will make the face of heaven so fine that all the world will be in love with night.â
I barely saw the grand embassies go by as we drove up Massachusetts Avenue. Weâd been mostly silent since we left the party, both of us lost in reverie because of what happened in that courtly room. My feelings were amazingly clear, but I needed to know what he was thinking.
The statue of Churchill outside the British Embassy brought me back to earth, somehow grounding in reality what had happened in our private Buckingham Palace. I turned toward Aaron, and since I didnât know how heâd react if I quoted Shakespeare, I opted for humor. âI feel like I just had the best sex of my life, but nobody came.â
He blinked a couple of times before he started snickering. It was contagious, and we chuckled until he stopped at the light before turning onto Wisconsin. âHow do you know I didnât come?â
âYouâd have needed to stop by the restroom to clean up.â
He made the turn, and the flash of headlights from oncoming traffic highlighted the regal cheekbones that presided over his deeply handsome face. âMaybe I like going around with loaded pants.â
I reached over and put my hand squarely on his crotch. âMm-hmm,â I said, as his cock twitched under my palm. âJust as I thought, dry as a bone.â
âWellâ¦.â We were stopped at another light, and he arched his eyebrows. âYouâre going to get a bone in about ten minutes.â
Leaning over the console, I planted a kiss in the middle of his cheek. âMight have to see who gets a bone.â A sudden glint in his eye made me realize that was an idea that needed further exploration. The pale light from the street was enough for me to see the ruby color that washed over his cheeks, and the quickly hardening cock under my hand was definitely not my imagination.
âMy place,â he whispered, âitâs closer.â
As soon as the door to Aaronâs apartment shut behind us, he drew me in for another hot kiss, and then led me into the kitchen.
âDrink?â He bent over and stuck his head into the fridge, giving me a great view of his ass. âI got water, OJ, Blue Moon, andââ He broke into a wild laugh, twisting his head to look back at me. âAnd, in honor of Suzanne, Flying Dog Breweryâs Raging Bitch IPA.â
I rolled my eyes and joined his crazy guffaw. âThink I had enough raging bitch yesterday,â I finally managed to say. âWaterâs good.â
He stood up with two bottles, handed one to me, and chugged his.
âThirsty?â I asked, with a little smirk.
âHungry,â he said, licking his lips and undressing me with his eyes.
âAaron?â I needed to talk to him.
His voice was barely more than a growl.
