BUNDY: The only thing that comes to mind is with the second girl. Would be a kind of bead necklace, an old simple little bead necklace, that’s all.

RENEAU: Do you recall what color it would have been?

BUNDY: Well, I’m not really good at describing jewelry and bead doesn’t really describe it. They were more like long little spaghetti with a string struck through it and they were black and a lighter color.

RENEAU: What was done with that necklace?

BUNDY: I think it was left, that was left with the body.

RENEAU: Still on the body at the time it was placed in the river?

BUNDY: Yes.

RENEAU: Were either of these girls other than Caucasian?

BUNDY: No, they were both Caucasians.

RENEAU: All right now. This route, this is regarding incident number two where you picked up the hitchhiker near Boise. You had made this drive a number of times by then?

BUNDY: Yes.

RENEAU: On this route you have traveled a number of times. As you mentioned, it was under construction, parts of the road were under construction at the time. After leaving Boise in those years, there were a couple of different places on the way to Pocatello where it would turn into a two-lane highway. Do you recall, whether or not, this section where you had the river to your right might have been one of those?
