“Bro, this better be good. I had plans tonight and you made me cut them short to come here.” Sean said as we walked into the warehouse.

“If it don’t make money it don’t make sense. Money is the only thing I make niggas stop and drop for. You know that by now fam.” I reassured my brother from another. “I will ask that you keep an open mind and listen to what I have to say before you go flying off the hinges tho.”

“Awww man. This sound like some straight bullshit Cain. Something I ain’t got time for.”

“Just trust me my brother. Have I ever steered you wrong?” His silence was all the confirmation I needed. “Exactly!”

“That was true…. until now.” Sean said looking over my shoulder at something that had just caught his attention. As I turned around to face the door, I saw our special guest walk through the doors. I thought Apryl would have been here by now and she wasn’t. I was hoping she wasn’t getting cold feet.

“Can we help you Mandi?” Sean asked walking in her direction in an aggressive manner.

“That’s no way to treat a guest. Unlike our last run in, I was actually invited to this party. So, chill out cowboy.” Mandi said as she stopped in her tracks starring Sean down. “Novacain, you didn’t tell your bestie over here that this was a family reunion?”

“Nah because it’s far from that. You are in need of assistance and I didn’t think it was fair to make a decision without consulting my partner first. Isn’t it better to just have everyone in the same room?” I asked Mandi in particular. I couldn’t imagine what was going through Sean’s head but I knew he was confused and caught off guard. If this lil meeting didn’t go off the way Apryl and I planned I wasn’t sure what Sean was going to think or say.

“Those were my thoughts exactly gentleman. Its better when EVERYONE is in the same room. Leaves less room for error, right?” Mandi asked rhetorically. “I have someone that wants to see you guys.” She said walking toward the entrance to the warehouse.
