The warmth of her touch still lingers. The stables sit at the bottom of the castle on a few squares of open field. The holding barns are made of wood to her surprise, but every other building is, of course, made of stone. It does not matter to the forest though, because even the wood stalls are covered in vines and flowers.

A tall, slender boy sits just on the outside of the barn.

He jumps to his feet as he sees the duo approaching him. Orien walks past the boy as if she does not even see him, but Elisiah smiles at him before saying hello.

Just before Elisiah can tell the boy that she needs a horse, Orien walks out of the wooden barn with a massive animal.

The creature is so big that even seven-foot Orien cannot see completely over it. Her eyes stop just at the center of the horse's wide back.

It wears a black leather saddle, and Orien tosses her leather packs over the horse's rear end. The dark gray coat makes the animal look like it has just rolled in soot from a fire. Its long black mane and tail lay in perfect straightness down its neck and backside.

“Surely this cannot be a normal horse,” Elisiah thinks to herself.

The stable boy takes the pack from her own shoulder and hands it to Orien. Elisiah watches as the female in front of her moves like fluid around the horse. Every time Orien has to cross in front of his head, the animal gently snaps his teeth at her, and each time, Orien simply narrows her eyes toward his.

Elisiah finds herself wishing she knew what the two communicated to each other. After Orien finishes latching the last few buckles to make sure all of their few belongings are held tightly, she jumps right on top of the animal.

Elisiah is still mesmerized by the sheer size of the animal.

“Will I be riding with you? I know how to ride a horse.” Elisiah is confused by the fact that another horse has not been brought out for her.

If we put you on a separate horse then how will we keep you safe? We cannot stop the mind of an animal if it wants to run or toss you off. On here with us, it cuts down on our worries.

Not wanting to argue, Elisiah walks toward the mountain of a horse and the person currently sitting tall in the saddle.

Lifting her hand to Orien, she is met with a strong grip as she is tossed on the back of the horse. She adjusts her position on the back and tries not to bump into Orien.

His name is Samuel. He will be gentle to only Orien and well, now you, so do not worry about him.

Elisiah currently sits on a horse named Samuel, and she is leaving the Kingdom with the most feared assassin known around this Kingdom and others. Elisiah feels like she should laugh right now at the situation she finds herself in.
