Harboring quite a bit of doubt, I had him back one month later and repeated the tests just to make sure it was not a switch up in the lab.

Four weeks later, everything was still the same. Normal blood pressure, normal urine both in my lab and the hospital lab, and normal kidney function.

After that, I brought him back every six months just because I wanted to be reminded of the miracle, and of course check his lab numbers to make sure the miracle stuck.

He humored me and came dutifully to each visit, if for nothing else than to pet my dog Henry and let me sit with a man who had been the recipient of a miracle. Every time he would cry with joy and gratitude. He was the first patient I ever knew who claimed their miraculous healing was from the grace of Jesus’ work.
