strap and the pressure rod has been apphed, causing hyper-extension at the knuckle, with the result that the spine is virtually straight. (Figs. 50 and 51.) In Fig. 52 we see this patient cured with a straight spine.

The author presented also two recumbent kyphotones at the same time, which carry out the same mechanical principles of hyperextension.
