The hands and Italian curse words were flying a mile a minute. Kyle had found out about Dante pretty much the same way Greg found out about Jay. He had caught Dante putting the gun in the waistband of his pants. Now he was screaming at his boyfriend in Italian. Dante finally stopped trying to yell over Kyle and waited. Kyle finally stopped and looked at Dante.

“Are you done?” Dante asked.

“I don’t know yet.”

“Don’t bother trying to talk me out of it, Kyle.”

Kyle sat on the bed. “Fine.”

“Why are you so worried?” Dante sat down next to him.

“What if you get shot?”

“Do you trust me, Kyle?”

“With my life.”

“Then let me do my job.”

“Move in with me.”

“To protect you, or because you want me to?”

“Do you really have to ask me that?”

“Okay,” Dante agreed.

He watched Kyle head to the other room and called Jake. “We need to talk.”
