Urgent.

It was the only word Lina could use to describe the way Ivo kissed her as she caressed him with one hand. Beneath the water, his legs pressed against hers, locking her in place. Above the water, where the air cooled her skin, his palms imprisoned her breasts while his mouth demanded heat. She opened to him, her body melting against the crush of his hands and the insistent sweep of his tongue.

She grasped him tighter. He grew thick and hard at her touch, making her ache for him.

He lifted his head, his dark eyes intense. “I love your hands on me.”

“I love the way you kiss me.” Blood pounded through her veins, driven by the dissipating heat of the bath and the fierceness of Ivo’s tone. “I want you in bed. The sooner, the better.”

“Stay.”

He was out of the water and back with a large, white towel before she could tell him how much she admired the way droplets sluiced off the hard planes of his rear. She tucked the image into a corner of her mind as she stepped toward him and reached for the towel. Instead, he started to pat her dry, but before she could protest, he silenced her with another devastating kiss.

Surrender was her only option.

“I want to be inside you,” he breathed into her hair as he dropped the towel and unwound the band she’d used to hold her waves out of the water. “I hurt I want it so much.”

The carnal edge in his voice nearly buckled her knees. Ivo was always passionate, but this was something else. A single-mindedness that should scare her, but only made her want him more.

She bracketed his face in her hands, angling her mouth in a kiss that said, yes, yes, yes.

His response was instantaneous. He had her on the bed in seconds, his fingers threaded through her hair, his granite-hard body pinning hers against the luxurious softness of the sheets. Then his mouth claimed her once more, his tongue swirling against hers in a dance that sent a scorching wave from her scalp to her soles. Lina’s all-encompassing desire for him bordered on pain. As her heart thundered in her ears and throat, she held him as close as she could. It wasn’t close enough. He tortured the skin along her jaw before moving to her collarbone, and she dug her fingers into the powerful muscles of his backside and groaned his name.

She wanted him desperately. He was the only thought in her head.

His tongue swept lower and she lost her grip on his damp skin. When his dark head dipped between her legs, she jumped at the first touch of his warm mouth against her. Awash in sensation, she cried out his name as he delved inside her, ratcheting up the tension with each touch until she thought she’d lose consciousness with the pleasure of it.

She couldn’t wait to return the favor. To see Ivo’s throat cord with tension as she sucked him deep.
