Swarnes tossed the coin at the same time Burrison said, "Seems to me I've heard that somewhere before." The coin hit the ground. "No fair calling now, Jay Cee," Swarnes said and bent over to snatch the quarter off the ground before Bell could look at it. "You were supposed to call it while it was in the air." "You're right, Scrappy," Bell said, ignoring Swarnes. "I got the call last time because you have rank on me. Let's take turns.'' Burrison nodded sharply. He wanted to make the call and was glad Bell agreed with him. Swarnes looked-at the two, wondering what came next. "Scrappy's making the call, Swarnes. Toss it again." Swarnes shrugged. He said, "Call it while it's in the air before it hits the ground, Scrappy," and tossed the quarter.
