Amy Huizenga: She told me before I knew the money was missing, like, I was counting money and she told me the story.

Amy just couldn’t bring herself to think Casey might steal from her, so she decided she must have hidden the money too well. “Yeah, so I was, like, well, you know eventually it will turn up,” she told Detective White. “… You know, like, my, they’re two of my best friends that I live with, [so] if four hundred dollars and twenty shows up, they’re gonna know whose it is.”
