STEP 1: Start with the basics. Use sticks and circles to block in the anatomy.

The most striking features at this stage are the digitigrade structure of the legs and the two big “toes” on the feet.

STEP 2: Block in the details and add the elements that will become the armor and the pistol. Continue drawing as if you can see through the figure to make sure the anatomical structure is not distorted. This will be erased in the final stages of penciling so that it is not confusing.

STEP 3: Erase the extra pencil lines to get a clearer idea of what the final drawing will look like.
