Nick stood just inside his door, his heart thumping. He had to be nuts. How could he possibly think of being with Phin so soon? Sure, Nick knew the man pretty much inside and out. His scent, his bearing and just overall presence were such a comfort to Nick. Which never happened at home. He had always felt out of place on the estate, where Phin was worried about the impressions of the Dragon Council and their blatant disapproval of his very obvious softer side. But this attentive caring man? This man who showered Nick with affection despite the presence of others? Nick wanted to cuddle close and bask in his attention.

Nick stripped down to his boxers and lay on the bed, because Phin was right. Nick did need a good night’s sleep in order to conquer the day. But thoughts and memories of Phin slid sinuously through his brain. The way Phin had tasted as his tongue swept into his mouth when they were eating. Nick’s hand slid down his chest, tweaking a nipple as he passed it before giving his dick a good grope. He could imagine Phin’s paw-sized hands holding it captive, his thumb swirling over the crown. God, he wanted Phin so much he ached. It was crazy, completely, utterly crazy how much he wanted Phin to be beside him, on him.

Cursing creatively, Nick realized that finally, Phin had heard him. He was doing exactly what Nick wanted, taking his time to woo Nick, to let him know that this wasn’t going to be a one and done and they'd be back to their old roles. Phin was treating Nick as a beloved treasured that was well loved. Giving his dick one last tug, he curled on his side and forced himself to sleep. Saturday was going to require his complete attention.
