Battery Point Light Station, which is accessible by foot at low tide, stands on a rocky outcropping on Battery Point at the end of A Street in Crescent City, California. The Del Norte County Historical Society maintains the property including the lighthouse, which continues to serve as an active, private navigational aid with a resident lighthouse keeper.

The lighthouse tower, the museum in the keeper’s house, and the grounds are open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday from April through September, weather permitting.
