After being let out for rec time this afternoon the new warden came to meet me personally. Even though he's supposed to be different from the last warden he lets me know in no uncertain terms that he's on Mr. Barnes team as well. If I'm here for very long he's going to pull the same shit the previous warden was doing.

Ruthie must really be pulling a lot of eyes on the case if the people in here are behaving themselves. Monk hasn't even been up to try and fuck with me since I've been awake. That's unheard of usually it's once every few days I'd have to fight him off.

When we get back in I go back to my bunk while a few of the get ready to see their loved ones for visitation. At least I know I'll have some quiet time. About ten minutes into the visitation time one of the guards comes up to my cell. "Landry, what are you doing in here?"

I sit up slowly, giving my ribs time to adjust. "What do you mean? I'm just resting up." I'm not sure what he's asking me.

"Didn't anyone tell you, your family is down in the visitation room. They waiting on you."

My mouth drops open and nearly fall straight on my face trying to get out of my bed. "Are you sure. I've never had visitors before. They never.... are you sure?" I ask him and stare at the man in front of me. I've not had too much interaction with this guard so I don't know where he stands in the fight against Mr. Barnes but I'm praying he's not that much of an ass and he's telling me the truth.

"Yeah, I'm sure man. They sent someone up here to tell you I guess they got lost. When you didn't show I came myself. Let's go, I got to get back to my station so you going to need to move your ass." He says trying to keep a bit of authority. I'd run there butt fucking naked right now if he needed me to. As long as he lets me see my family. I hope Celine is there. I want to see the boys too but my kid is the only thing on my mind right now. This is more stressful than when she was with Rene at least with Rene I knew that she was still alive. With no type of communication with the outside I have no idea if Mr. Barnes or anyone else has killed everyone I loved and is just leaving me here to suffer.

"I'm coming. Just let me put a shirt on. I'm coming."I grab a t shirt and slip it on. I rush as fast as I can to the sink and slash some water on my face. Trying to get rid of some of the stress that has etched it's way onto my face. After about thirty seconds I'm following the guard toward the visitation room. With every step my excitement grows until it feels like it's about to bubble out of my body.
