Sorry rib eye, but short ribs is the best grill meat in the world. It’s got a meatier flavour than hanger steak, nicer marbling than a rib eye and is at least as cheap as a skirt steak. Although it’s never been a particularly traditional grill cut, it has become more common after the recent years’ BBQ-boom. In Korea it is, together with bulgogi and samgyupsal, the grill meat above all, and it comes in a range of different varieties. Here are two:
