DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a large bowl, mix eggs with sugar and vanilla; add butter.

In a separate bowl, sift together ground chocolate with flour, baking powder and salt. Add to egg mixture. Fold in crumbled bacon bits. Add 3 Tbsp bourbon.

Pour into greased 8x8 inch or similar size pan and spread evenly.

Bake 20 min. or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Remove brownies from oven. Sprinkle remaining ¼ C bourbon over top of brownies.

Even easier version – use a box brownie mix such as Betty Crocker Dark Chocolate Brownie Mix or brownie mix of your choice. Replace ¼ C of the water with bourbon.
