Choose the appropriate balm for your lips based on your skin needs. Beeswax, paraffin, olive oil, jojoba, and aloe vera are the best ingredients to look for in a hydrating, softening lip balm. Fold your lips into themselves to stretch the skin around your lips, and help to minimize wrinkles.

Pucker your lips, hold for five to ten seconds, and then release with a huge smile. This will stretch the skin on your lips and help strengthen your lip muscles.

Purse your lips together and lift them up toward your nose. Hold for five to ten seconds, then release and repeat.

Using your (clean) fingers, stretch the sides of your mouth; apply some lip balm to the corners of your mouth before and after.

Suck on an ice cube, or use a straw to exercise your mouth’s muscles.
