This game is an interesting twist on the more common “answer question, get game token” format of most trivia games. Players start with one chip from each category: beverages, geography and culture, ingredients, recipes, food people. The categories are color-coded and the chips food themed, so your red chip might have a lobster on it, your orange one a wedge of cantaloupe, green a bunch of asparagus. Then as you answer questions based on a roll of the colored die, you take away a chip with each correct response. So the first clean plate—the player with all the food chips removed—is the winner. There is the occasional piece-of-cake question in the mix, particularly the multiple choicers, but there are quite a lot of stumpers in there, too.
