IN WINTER

your face i'll find,

when i look inside my mind.

your taste was sweet.

you're gone and so is everything.

it's me. again.

alone and confused, i stand

by your grave. by your death.

the fear of the world hasn't left.

what we wanted wasn't this.

i can't change the past.

holding you close from the distance.

was our love not meant to last?

if anyone said this was easy,

they aren't one to believe.

all my pain i hold inside.

but, in winter, you're here with me.

all hope is gone.

there's no reason to go on.

yet, i feel in time,

these things will be alright.

with this life, what i'll do

is live it through for you.

i swear, in the end

i will hold you again.
