STEP 6 Create vein lines within the leafy dress using a sharp white point. Lightly shade around the veins with dark umber and blend into the green dress with dark green. Add another layer of burnt ochre to the fairy’s hair and add streaks with more dark umber, blending with white. Color the leafy garland with random selections of dark green, olive green, and apple green. Add black and dark umber for depth, blending with white for highlights. For the flower centers, use white and burnt ochre. Erase smudges on the fairy’s skin along with any graphite lines. Apply an initial layer of beige followed by peach over her face and body, using small, circular strokes and light pressure.
