Kelvin didn’t want to hear another word from Vina. He was two seconds from busting her in the mouth. Even after all he endured he couldn’t muster up the gall to hit a woman. Kelvin was in such a great deal of pain. He eased off of the bed sideways trying not to move as much.

“Vina, I don’t give two shits about you and your bullshit ass story, just help me get dressed and I’ll be out of your way. At this point there is nothing you can say.”

Vina did as he asked. She knew there was no coming back from this. She offered him a ride but he refused and preferred to catch a cab. During the silence she offered again but, Kelvin had her on ignore. She wondered why he didn’t give the drop off address to the nearest hospital but, decided not to ask. The cab arrived and blew the horn. She tried to help him to the cab but, he pushed her hands away. She watched him stumble his way out of her life.

“I am sorry! I wish…”
