I arrived at the cinema complex at five past seven. Stood outside the main doors, was a very nervous looking Bart.

I frowned. Where was everyone else? I sauntered up to him, “Is it just the two of us?” I asked.

He shook his head and chuckled. “I knew you’d think that but no – Darian, Griggsy and Eric have already gone in to get the tickets for us all.”

I nodded, “Oh, right – I thought…”

Bart’s smile lit up his whole face, “And you would have still come in with me?”

I shrugged, “Sure, why not?” I flashed him a grin. He was quite cute in a bouncy puppy-dog kind of way.

He beamed back at me, “Wow.” He murmured, “Come on, then. Let’s go and find them.”

I followed him inside.
